smtg really amazing happened yest..
but first you've all gtta understand tt on fri was hell of an aftnn shift. firstly we receive ALOt of hypergly and hypogly cases from the morn.. so tts equivalent to a whole lot hourly h/c.. was crossing my fingers tt we'd transfer those cases during our aftnn rounds.. BUT NOOOO... SNR DR say keep keep keep till Cm.. or keep keep keep till night rounds.. soo okaiis... den i cross my fingers AGAIN for not much cases to come up from ED.. and i was WRONG agn.. we receive like 10 cases from ed all the cases were like head injury and blunt trauma.. which means.. hourly paras and hourly CLCs... SIAN or WHAT?.. to top it up.. there was me.. a kookoo I/C.. and there was another pretty new SN slightly older then i am.. but she's really sick.. and of cuz i have my very powerful AN and HCA.. who did all the nursing aid tt was needed!
we all left for home like close to 10pm and i left home when the night round starts! sheesh.. admitting a whole lot yest night also means discharging a whole lot this mornng.. true enough.. we had like 14 d/cs... and dont forget.. the HI's and BT's alll comes up with wounds.. soooo... again my very powerful AN and HCA (which were the same ones the aftnn before) were all geared up to face the hectic morning..
and then.. comes the miracle..
first of all.. NO i/c called us up asking how many pts are there-which was 22pts for 2SN and 1AN and 1HCA.. so he says ok.. if you cannot manage ring us up.. i says okaaaiiiiss... IF WE CANNOT MANAGE....
then sister honey came up for her rounds.. opps.. SNM HONEY came up for her rounds.. she sees us all running around not even realising she's there.. (only when dr Thomas greeted her tt i stop and say.. ohh sister! =SS!) anws.. she asked.. nadirah how pts do you have?? i says 22 sister..how many discharges.. i say 14 sister.. and of cuz apologised for making her wait.. she swipped her hp up and says... i need 2-3 ANs up here to help with the dressings! and i want 2-3 SNs up here to help with the discharges.. and so withing minutes.. 4-6 EXTRA STAFFS WERE UP THERE TO HELP US!!!!
and then she walked personally to my very powerful AN and told her tt help is on the way so dun worry! -cool or what! LOL!!
after the rounds.. she dragged my very powerful HCA down with her.. and my very powerful HCA came back up with 6 pkts of lunch boxes.. cuz sister honey treat us to lunch.. 6 is for the 4 of us while the oth 2 is for Dr thomas and our dear clerk!
there you go.. a miracle tt EDTC can only dream to happen.. happened yest! during MY SHIFT!!

my very powerful AN says.. nadirah our hard work yest was being recognised.. not bad not bad.. HAHAHAHS!! sad thing was the night staff suffered even more.. and i feel bad for them!
